α. εἶπεν τῷ ἀγγελῷ κράξαντι[AAP-DSM].
--- He said to the angel after the angel cried out.
β. ἐλθόντες[AAP-NPM] εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν εἶδον τὸ παιδίον μετὰ Μαρίας.
--- After they came into the house, they saw the child with Mary.
γ. προσελθὼν[AAP-NSM] εἷς γραμματεὺς εἶπεν αὐτῷ· διδάσκαλε.
--- After coming, one scribe said to him: "Teacher!"
δ. ἀρξάμενος[AMP-NSM] ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας
--- after he began from the Galilee.
ε. εἴπον τῷ ἀνδρὶ ἀποστείλαντι[AAP-DSM] ὑμᾶς πρός με.
--- I said to the man after the man sent you(pl.) to me.
ζ. ἐλθούσῃ[AAP-DSF] εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν λέγει αὐτῇ.
--- After she came into the house, he is speaking to her.
η. ἄγγελον τοῦ θεοῦ εἰσελθόντα[AAP-ASM] πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰπόντα[AAP-ASM] αὐτῷ
--- after an angel of the Lord coming to him and speaking to him
II) Translation
1. καὶ εὐθὺς τοῖς σάββασιν εἰσελθὼν[AAP-NSM] εἰς τὴν συναγωγὴν ἐδίδασκεν[IAI-3S].
--- And immediately with the Sabbath, after he had come into the synagogue, he was teaching.2. εὐθὺς κράξας[AAP-NSM] ὁ πατὴρ τοῦ παιδίου ἔλεγεν[IAI-3S]· πιστεύω[PAI-1S].
--- Immediately after he had cried out, the father of the child was saying: "I am believing."
3. ἐλθόντι[AAP-DSM] δὲ εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν προσῆλθον[AAI-3P] αὐτῷ.
--- But after he had come into the house, they came to him.
4. ἀσπασάμενοι[AMP-NPM] τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἐμείναμεν[AAI-1P] ἡμέραν μίαν παρ᾽ αὐτοῖς.
--- After we had greeted the brothers, we stayed one day with them.
5. προσελθόντες[AAP-NPM] δὲ οἱ δοῦλοι τοῦ οἰκοδεσπότου (owner) εἶπον[AAI-3P] αὐτῷ· κύριε, οὐχὶ καλὸν σπέρμα (seed) ἔσπειρας[AAI-2S];
--- But after he servants of the owner had come, they said to him: "Lord! did not you sow good seed?"
6. ἀκούσας[AAP-NSM] δὲ ὁ Ἡρῴδης ἔλεγεν[IAI-3S], Ὅν ἐγὼ ἀπεκεφάλισα (I beheaded) Ἰωάννην, οὗτος ἠγέρθη[API-3S].
--- But after the Heord had heard, he was saying, John, whom I myself beheaded, this man was raised.
7. ὁ δὲ Σίμων καὶ αὐτὸς ἐπίστευσεν[AAI-3S], καὶ βαπτισθεὶς[APP-NSM] ἦν[IAI-3S] προσκαρτερῶν (keeping close) τῷ Φιλίππῳ, θεωρῶν[AAP-NSM] τε σημεῖα[APN] καὶ δυνάμεις[APF] μεγάλας[APF].
--- But the Simon himself also believed, and after he had been baptized, he was keeping close with the Phillip, seeing both signs and great wonders.
8. καὶ ἀποκριθεῖσα[APP-NSF] ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ εἶπεν[AAI-3S]· οὐχί, ἀλλὰ κληθήσεται[FPI-3S] Ἰωάννης.
--- And after his mother answered and said: "no, but he will be called John."
9. καὶ ἰδὼν[AAP-NSM] τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἀπὸ μακρόθεν (afar) ἔδραμεν (he/she/it ran) καὶ προσεκύνησεν[AAI-3S] αὐτῷ καὶ κράξας[AAP-NSM] φωνῇ μεγάλῃ λέγει[PAI-3S], Τί ἐμοὶ καὶ σοί, Ἰησοῦ υἱὲ τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ὑψίστου (the Highest);
--- And after seeing the Jesus from afar, he ran and he worshiped him and after crying out with loud voice, he is saying, what to me and to you, Jesus son! of the God of the Highest?
10. Καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς[APP-NSM] ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἔλεγεν[IAI-3S] διδάσκων[PAP-NSM] ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ· πῶς λέγουσιν[PAI-3P] οἱ γραμματεῖς ὅτι ὁ Χριστὸς υἱὸς Δαυίδ ἐστιν[PAI-3S]; αὐτὸς Δαυὶδ εἶπεν[AAI-3S] ἐν τῷ πνεύματι τῷ ἁγίῳ· εἶπεν[AAI-3S] κύριος τῷ κυρίῳ μου· κάθου (Sit!) ἐκ δεξιῶν μου ἕως ἂν θῶ (I place) τοὺς ἐχθρούς (enemies) σου ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν σου.
--- And the Jesus answered and was speaking while he was teaching in the temple:
"how the scribes are saying that the Christ is son of David?
David he himself said by the holy spirit:
'Lord said to my Lord:
Sit! from my right
until I surely place your enemies under your feet.
III) Additional
11. ἀσπασάμενα[AMP-NPN] τοὺς πατρὰς καὶ τὰς μητρὰς αὐτῶν τὰ παιδία ἐξῆλθεν[AAI-3P] σὺν τοῖς ἄλλοις τέκνοις.
--- After they had greeted their fathers and mothers, the children went with the other childs.
12. ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἐκ τῆς οἰκίας καὶ εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν ἐλθὼν[AAP-NSM] ἔκραξεν[AAI-3S] ἐν μεγάλῃ φωνῇ· πάντες οἳ εἰς εμὲ πιστεύουσιν[PAI-3P] σωθήσονται [FPI-3P] ἀπὸ τῆς ἐξουσίας τοῦ πονηροῦ.
--- But after the Jesus had come out of the house and into the temple, he cried out in great voice: "All who are believing into me will be saved from the authority of the evil."
13. ἰδόντες[AAP-NPM] δὲ οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ θεοῦ τὰς θυγατέρας τῶν ἀνθρώπων ὅτι καλαί εἰσιν, ἔλαβον[AAI-3P] ἑαυτοῖς γυναῖκας ἀπὸ πασῶν[GPF], ὧν[GPF] ἐξελέξαντο[choose, AMI-3P].
--- But after the sons of the God had seen the daughters of the men that they are good, they took for themselves wives from all (women), of whom they chose for themselves.
14. καθὼς καὶ Μωϋῆς προσηύξατο[AMI-3S] πρὸς κύριον καὶ κατέβη[AAI-3S] πῦρ ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τὰ τῆς θυσίας(offering) ἐδαπάνησεν(consumed [AAI-3S]) οὕτως καὶ Σαλωμὼν προσηύξατο[AMI-3S] καὶ καταβὰν[AAP-NSN] τὸ πῦρ τὰ τῆς θυσίας ἐδαπάνησεν.
--- Just as also Moses prayed to Lord and fire came down out of the heaven and the (things) of the offering consumed, thus also Solomon prayed and the fire coming down consumed the things of the offering.
15. καὶ λαβοῦσα[AAP-NSF] τοῦ[GSM] καρποῦ αὐτοῦ ἔφαγεν[AAI-3S] καὶ ἔδωκεν (he/she/it gave) καὶ τῷ ἀνδρὶ αὐτῆς μετ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ ἔφαγον[AAI-3P].
--- And after she had taken of its fruit, she ate and she gave also to her husband with her and they ate.
16. καὶ ἠγέρθη[API-3S] καὶ εὐθὺς ἄρας[AAP-NSM] τὸν κράβαττον(mattress) ἐξῆλθεν[AAI-3S].
--- And he was raised and immediately after he had taken up the mattress he went out
17. ἀκούσας[AAP-NSM] δὲ ὁ βασιλεὺς Ἡρῴδης ἐταράχθη[API-3S] καὶ πᾶσα Ἱεροσόλυμα μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ.
--- But after the king Herod had heard, he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him.
18. καὶ πάλιν ἀπελθὼν[AAP-NSM] προσηύξατο[AMI-3S] τὸν αὐτὸν λόγον εἰπών[AAP-NSM]. καὶ πάλιν ἐλθὼν[AAP-NSM] εὗρεν[AAI-3S] αὐτοὺς καθεύδοντας[PAP-APM].
--- And again after he had departed, he prayed, speaking the same word. And again after he had come, he found them sleeping.
19. εἶπεν· λάβετε (take!), τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ σῶμά μου. καὶ λαβὼν[AAP-NSM] ποτήριον(cup) εὐχαριστήσας[AAP-NSM] ἔδωκεν (he/she/it gave) αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἔπιον[AAI-3P] ἐξ αὐτοῦ πάντες.
--- He said: "Take, this is my body." And after taking a cup, after giving thanks, he gave to them and all (men) drank out of it.
20. αὐτὸς δὲ ἐκβαλὼν[AAP-NSM] πάντας παραλαμβάνει[PAI-3S] τὸν πατέρα τοῦ παιδίου καὶ τὴν μητέρα καὶ τοὺς μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰσπορεύεται[PMI-3S] ὅπου ἦν τὸ παιδίον.
--- But after he himself had cast out all (men) he is taking the father of the child and the mother and the (ones) with him and he is coming into where the child was.
